Mech Tech Professionals

The founder Jonathan Hann had worked in the recruitment industry for over 20 years within corporate organisations and felt it was time to do things right, believing that larger agencies were taking too much margin for the poor service provisions supplied. He wanted to flip this and reduce the margins therefore offering a higher take home pay for operatives at the same time adding additional value-added services to clients including induction support, on site and project management support, face to face introductions of staff supplied and additional help with reference checks.

Success Factor

The business has grown because of its market knowledge, experience and consultative approach along with value added service, honesty and solid morals. Whilst the Covid-19 pandemic has hit the firm’s bottom line, it has taken the opportunity to strategically hire new staff to create new markets and sectors within the company. Its current processes have been reviewed with new processes have been developed to help streamline the business and create additional efficiencies. It has also invested in a new home working platform which will enable us to work seamlessly from home during future lockdowns should they arise.

The Future

The aim for the future is to grow Mech Tech Professionals to a £20m turnover by 2025 and using the blueprint of past successes, the firm has added several new divisions over the past few months including technical engineering, electrical, training and educational and industrial services.
