Indigo was established to address the growing demand for highly skilled engineering resource to build and maintain an ever-expanding global telecommunication infrastructure post the telecommunications/dot com ‘crash’ in 2002/2003. Early challenges included competing with long established incumbent service providers, differentiating Indigo from its competitors by focusing on delivering a responsive and quality focused service; and raising capital to allow investment in resources, engineering tooling and test equipment.

Success Factor

The year on year increasing global demand for bandwidth ‘hungry’ services including social media, content provider services and cloud (data) services has continues to drive bandwidth demand. Indigo builds and supports the networks that provide this bandwidth. Indigo also differentiates itself from its competitors by demonstrating a flexible and responsive approach to customer demands. Finally, Indigo is fortunate to have a highly skilled motivated international workforce who have remained loyal to the organisations goals and consistently deliver best in class services.

The Future

Indigo’s growth over the coming years is underpinned by a strategy of continued organic growth across its international customer base combined with a number of strategic acquisitions which will not just serve to compliment the current services portfolio and expand its geographical reach but also help underpin the firm’s capabilities to support new and future technologies.
