Vetro Health

Origins

It was founded by Alastair Tulloch and Alun Davies who have extensive knowledge and experience working within the healthcare recruitment sector and both directors continue to lead from the front with clear and transparent goals for business growth. Their mission was, and still is, to provide a clear and transparent recruitment service to the healthcare sector. Attracting and recruiting the right quality staff in today's markets is a complex and time-consuming process. The demand for healthcare staff is at an all-time high and is only set to increase over the coming years. They sought to achieve this by mirroring the sectors that they supply into and by gaining a true understanding of the challenges faced by clients and candidates. They quickly identified that to truly understand clients, they needed to employ people who had previously worked within the sectors that they supply to. Additional challenges faced was the growth of more providers to compete against which is why brand reputation and delivering upon our mission was always critical. The business is immensely proud that it is still the most recommended healthcare recruitment agency in South Wales.

Success Factor

Attracting and recruiting the right quality staff in today's markets is a complex and time-consuming process and Vetro Health sought to achieve this by gaining a true understanding of the challenges faced by clients and candidates through employing people who had previously worked within the sectors that it supplies The firm’s internal culture is supportive, hardworking and fun and the directors like staff to feel engaged within the company and their roles. The job can be difficult at times and staff are rewarded for their hard work and dedication with quarterly away days, an annual VIP (Vetro's Incredible People) trip abroad, and monthly awards. Vetro has invested in the leading temporary recruitment systems to make sure it fills all requests at speed whilst also giving clients the peace of mind that all workers supplied are meeting all compliance requirements.

The Future

The plan for the next five years is to continue with its growth strategy through further penetration into core sectors and diversification into others. It has recently opened new offices in North Wales, Bristol and Southampton and will be further expanding across South West Wales, the North West, and Midlands. The firm has also just been awarded an NHS Tender so the next few years will see large growth across England and Wales delivering this.
