Insight Health Screening

Twins Liz Terry and Ellie Taylor co-founded Insight Health Screening Ltd in 2009. Liz was employed as an occupational health nurse adviser for Neath Port Talbot Council and Ellie worked as a senior account manager for a global recruitment firm Cardiff. The twins decided to use their collective expertise and set up the company with an aim to help protect the health of local companies and to bridge a huge gap in service provision that existed. At the time, there was no easy access to occupational health, especially for smaller companies. Liz and Ellie feel strongly that occupational health should be accessible to all. Since inception, the company has gone from strength to strength. Insight moved into larger office space in Llandarcy and opened a purpose built clinic in Imperial Park, Newport. Insight now has the largest employed headcount of any occupational health company in Wales and continues to grow.

Insight Health Screening has a clear mission and set of values that drive everything it does. The firm ensures that doing business is simple and enjoyable by employing the best people, nurturing and empower them so they can deliver the best service and enjoy a rewarding career. It also employs commercial managers which ensures that it always has a focus on the customer and deliver quality and value. By investing and utilising these occupational health software systems, Insight ensures that it is at the forefront of technology and is able to handle data completely securely, which has made services attractive to many organisations. Finally, Insight has a fleet of mobile units that travel UK wide to carry out health surveillance and medicals and bringing occupational health services to site and being able to carry out audiometry testing with a booth at the customer site has been a very popular service.
