Celtic Rendering Systems (Burry Port)

Origins

CRS was established in November 2008 by Peter Meredith and since then, it has grown from two employees and ten sub-contract operatives, to eight direct employees and forty sub-contractors. With the growth of the company, it has had to secure larger premises and will be moving into them in November.

Success Factor

With almost thirty years of experience, it prides itself on working to very high standards and all its operatives are expected to achieve that same high standard of workmanship. All operatives are trained to hold a minimum NVQ Level 2 in their field of expertise and carpenters, plumbers and bricklayers are employed to supplement the firm’s range of services. They also have a range of professional sub-contractors including scaffolding, electrical and Gas Safe registered engineers, roofers, UPVc specialists and asbestos removal teams upon which ensures that all works can be completed seamlessly and efficiently. It also holds various accreditations such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, BBA to PAS 2030:2012 and is a member of INCA, CHAS, Construction-line and others.

The Future

CRS is moving into new premises that will house the core business of EWI Installation and will also have a training school for the application of EWI systems. Conference facilities and a materials distribution facility are also planned. As a result, it will need to take on more staff at the new facility. It has a positive outlook for the future and is looking forward to its growth in Wales.
