Origins

The MSS Group was created because the founders judged that the time was right for a fresh look at the way facilities management and support services were delivered in the UK. They believed that it was possible to re-engineer the delivery model to ensure that services were better and more reliable than anything else currently in the marketplace. The major challenge to face the business in its first three years was the impact of rapid growth on systems and processes, and ensuring that the business was fit for purpose in the fastest realistic time. Operational reliability has always been the company’s major focus and, like many businesses, cash flow was a key area to manage in order to ensure the firm retained the headroom for growth.

Success factors

The close working relationship between the MSS Group and its clients and an understanding of their business needs has been a key factor in the success of the business.
