Ritetrak is a solution provider for process and packaging operations within the food and dairy industry and is based in a 15000 sq ft factory in Carmarthenshire. The firm has its own inhouse drawing office, which is equipped with the most up-to-date CAD drawing system coupled with a highly equipped and skilled engineering workshop, allowing us to offer our clients the highest standards of quality and service. In it short history, the company has already earned an excellent reputation throughout the UK as a solution provider for process packaging operations within the food and dairy industry.

Origins

Lynnette and Adrian Phillips co started the business having gained 20 years experience in the dairy industry. Their existing employer went into receivership – this prompted them to start a business. The main challenges at start-up were gaining a name and market within the industry. Their vision was to form a company that could supply high quality equipment and machinery, designed to meet individual company requirements of their customers

Success factors

The three main factors that have resulted in the growth of the business are the technical ability of Adrian Phillips, marketing expertise and the ability of the staff within the business. the company’s reputation has been developed by providing the customer with a full project management service and support package, starting with the innovation and design of the equipment, right through to the manufacture and installation of the machinery.

The future?

The main aim of the business is to reach £4.5 million turnover within 3 years and the owners are currently developing a sales and marketing plan in order to achieve it, and have trained staff to reach targets.
